I bought these 10K White Gold Sapphire and Diamond Lever back Earrings as a gift for a family member.She loves the decent sized dark blue natural sapphire set in 10K white gold with a tiny sparkling diamond to accentuate the sapphire. The earrings are about 1/2" long.About the earring size, she received comments that they are 'petite and very attractive'.For ease of use, she found the 'Lever back clip' much easier to use than 'ear-wire that clips into a hook'.The only negative comment she made about these earrings was 'that it would have been nice if the white gold hoop was a bit thicker'.NOTE: These sapphires are definitely in the dark blue color range. I read all the reviews before ordering these earrings. In the end I did order them because I was looking for a nice set to match a sapphire ring that my granddaughter had received for her birthday last year. I liked the description of them as petite (that's what I wanted and what the picture showed) and well-made. I particularly wanted the white gold for its hypoallergenic qualities. The picture showed a dark blue sapphire, which was the color I wanted. When we got the earrings, they were a cornflower blue (which is actually a more desirable color in a sapphire and often worth more than the dark). I was disappointed because they didn't match the ring we already had. I mentioned that in my review and was immediately contacted by the vendor who offered to replace the ones I bought with a darker pair. They were as good as their word and very promptly sent back a perfect pair of darker sapphire earrings. I could not be be more pleased with either the product or the service from this vendor and would not hesitate to order from them again. And . . . the price was very reasonable.

The earrings themselves appear to be well made, however the sapphires in mine were very pale, almost baby blue. I'm used to a beautifully sparkly rich navy blue in my sapphires. I guess you get what you pay for!
