Six beautiful Peridot Swarovski Crystals arranged around one crystal to look like a daisy flower, set in Blomdahl's medical plastic setting. All Blomdahl jewelry is designed from a medical perspective. If you have difficulty wearing earrings Blomdahl is your solution. The second photo is of the Blomdahl Cleanroom. All our products are produced in clean environment. No other jewelry products are made in this manner. The stone is 4mm in diameter. That is about 1/8th of an inch. Medical plastic is plastic that has been approved by the FDA for use in the human body. The earring backs are also medical plastic. These look much nicer that you might expect. The medical plastic setting is overshadowed by the stone and has the look of a white gold setting. My pediatrician piereced my 11-month daughter's ears with Blomdahl earrings, and recommended them for the medical grade plastic that wouldn't cause allergies. I love the way they look, but beware if purchasing for a baby. The posts are very sharp, and the backs are not at all secure. My little one was extremely uncomfortable with them, and we had to keep adjusting as the posts were poking the area behind her ears. The very first night, we lost one earring and panicked to find the other in baby girl's mouth.These were not safe to put back in, and by the time the screw-backs arrived two days later, the holes had closed. Couldn't be more disappointed that we'll have to re-pierce because of our experience with these earrings.

I bought these for my daughter (who is 4). She had just had her ears pierced about 5 weeks ago, but I was concerned that she was sensitive to the earrings used for the piercing. I switched the earrings, and she has had no problems since. They are super cute and good quality. They have actually developed a very slight bend in the middle. I think that is because she sleeps with them in. But you can't tell by looking at them, I could only tell when I took them out to clean them. Overall, this was a great purchase. I thought they were a little pricey at first, but they are such great quality, and her ears got so much better almost immediatly.....so it was worth it.
